I'm looking at a flouresent green 72 Super for sale in my neighborhood. Was that a factory color for that year? I seem to remember seeing that color when I was young.

From the archives here on Thesamba~ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/72super/p-back.jpg

Doesn't look like a flourescent green to me, but i'm not looking at the car either. You can also browse more colors and paint chips at www.autocolorlibrary.com

Good luck!

It was a 73-74 karmann ghia color also used on the special edition '74 Love Bug model. Ravenna Green is what VW called it.
There were other bright greens such as 'Apple Green" but not in the USA.
The only 72 bugs in green were dark green in the USA

Yeah, the only green made in 1972 was a dark green color called Elm Green.
