Hello also check out the sit www.dimequartly.com the have a pretty good classifieds section. I also enjoy 510's not as much as vw's though. Hope that helps.

i used to be a 510 nut still have 2 cars 72 4 door 4 speeds & air & a bunch of engines transmissions rear ends couple sets of rare wheels & 1 5 speed & 1 posi traction rear
1 of the cars is factory dark blue unwrecked & no major rust had a custom interior stitched back in the day momo steering wheel euro tail lights tach dash was a sweet ride the other is a parts car

Damn, My buddy Jason in Palmdale, Ca loves those 510's. He had a super clean original white one on 4 spoke daiseys that was lowered just enough. Thing was fast as hell. I like those cars. They remind me of Notchbacks. He knew everything about them and would scour all the local wrecking yards for the grilles, tailights etc. He even had an empi GTV steering wheel in one that he said came from the dealer with it. _________________ GFK

| back in the day 1979 i had a 1967 datsun 411/bluebird.even the parts guys at datsun didnt know they made a 411,they always said 411 are vws.it was a great little car except for the spider gears in the rear. i must have put them in 5 or 6 times.it was supposed to be one of the first datsuns in our area. |
