Hi,
OK So everything is obvious in hindsight, I didn't realise there are drain holes in the front valance , I've seen lots of pictures of rusty valances and sills and doglegs bottoms of doors...
I've seen the thread on drain holes in the doors/doglegs with a great picture of flushing them... would be nice to see a way to flush the front valance and sills? others I've missed...
Here are the ones I'm going to be keeping clear in future.. have I missed any?
1. Cab Doors
2. Doglegs
3. Cargo Doors
4. Rear Hatch
5. Engine Lid
6. Front Valance

Truck gates have drain holes in them too. They always have loose rust flakes in them will sound like a rain stick when you open or close them.
While I like to give a bus a good bath and wash it where the sun don't shine so it's squeaky clean everywhere, when you get the interior in it does limit access to washing out places like the inside of the doors, etc.
Jack points can be accessed with the interior in place:
But while the interior is out, you can wash out the inside of the nose and get the goobers out of the valence.
The area under the front seat is big on collecting dirt, coins and old ball point pens (aka biros in the UK ) It is supposed to be able to drain into the spare tire well, but the drains are usually clogged.
The spare tire well does have little drains also, which are generally clogged up as well
