can anyone tell me which way round the oil pressure piston should go as i removed the screw plug and it droped out.does it go with the solid end to the top or the one that has been machined internally to the top?the engine is a 1600twin port 1970 the presure piston is the bottom of the case one thanks

I'm guessing so the spring would stay centered in the bottom of the plunger?
