The cutaway area behind the spare tire where the washer bottle goes has a bracket sticking out one side and the brake fluid reservoir on the opposite side. The bracket looks like something slides on to it. However, I cannot determine how the washer bottle goes in the cutaway hole because the bracket is in the way. Does anyone have a picture they could post so I can see how to seat the washer bottle? Thanks

1962-later Beetles don't have a bracket to mount the washer bottle. The bottles are held in place with 3 nipples which snap into adjacent holes on the body. Maybe a previous owner installed the bracket for another purpose?
