Has anyone got any pictures of a dune buggy/ sand rail thats built on a stock Beetle chassis? I'm looking at building mine this way to help shave a few dollars off the costs and if anyone's got some pics to help me see how it looks etc that would be great! Thanks in advance!! _________________ Coat me in chocolate and throw me in a barrel of cats! |

I like the square tubing personally When it's done that would need a gatling gun much more than my baja would. He's got me beat in the road worrior catigory. _________________ is it time to get out of the dirt and switch to the street? |

Heres mine. Its on a non shortened pan. Since I have the title the rail is street legal too. Basically used square tube at the bottom and used the stock holes to mount the rail frame to the pan. Moved everything to the back of the pan so that I sit where the back seats would have been but you could make it a 4 seater too.
