In all reality dont buy any bug parts. I have decided that its better to buy used, stock parts (when needed) and clean them up. Most parts are cheap Chinese crap or some company just dishing out crap because they want to make a sale instead of selling a quality product. Several places I shop at have stopped selling good, brand name parts in exchange for cheap crap just to make more sales.
This opinion has nothing to do with my current post about new spindles.

You get what you pay for. The CIP HD pans, for twice the price, are much thicker. I've also heard of guys doubling up on the cheap stuff. But even my HD pans don't compare with the thickness of the rusted stock ones I took off. BTW, don't blame Chirco, they are just selling the same Brazillian crap that everyone sells, because people want the cheapest stuff in the ads.

My dad was thinkin about buyng replacement pan sections, but figured he'd use a old chevy car hood from the top of the hill (our junk pile) lol. Worked great but doesnt have the '3rd dimensional' strength.
