Please post photos of your rides
As I'm looking for inspiration for my own -64 bug I'd like to see som race inspired interior, driveable ride height, cool gauges, seats, belts, wheels, engines, and so on

I haven't come that far with my projekt, as it still got original seats and steel wheels and a very tired 1200, hehe

My -64 "Kellerassel"

Some of the interior, will add gauges for oil temp, oil press, afr, rpm

Also need a pair of retro bucket seats

The heads are ported by me, they are stock 043, inlet 35,5, exhaust 30, 4 angle seats, stainless valves. 140cfm @ 12mm isn't too bad (25" water)

At a viewing point in Gothenburg/Sweden

Here are some other photos of the car, which are updated over time.

What you have requested is along the same lines of how I'm building my car. So far I've searched on 356 Outlaws, Beetle Outlaws to get some inspirational pictures.
The car below is at this link has a lot of yo what you may be looking for.

Nice, thanks

The first two, green and the blue are closest to the kind of exterior that I like. Love the ragtop, but who doesn't? Smile

Inside I'd like two bucket seats, black, black door cards, all in suede or leather. The gauges should be oil pressure, oil temp, afr, rev counter.

It would also be nice to have 4point harness, but it takes a roll cage to look good.. It would bust the plans to have a nice summertime daily driver Smile

I'd like to have Us-bumpers.. but harder to get and a bit expensive over here Sad

the beryl green is sweet Smile I would like to se som bigger rear tires.. not extreme like the gassers.. but a little drag stance. Chopped cars are big no no.. can be cool, but i prefer sectioned (spelling?) cars if strongly modified body.

It's also cool with vintage accessories, like the albert mirrors, or porsche gauges.. only thing is that they are rare and expensive Smile

Hello,
Regarding this Beetle 60, do you know the technical characteristics, namely:
- rim dimensions : 4.5" ?
- tire dimensions ?
- front beam narrowed ?
- dropped spindles ?
Thanks for your feedback
Marco

I also put a quick disconnect Momo California wheel on since the photos. I'll try and take a photo tonight and add it.

As fast as one can go in a bigbore 40... Smile

It's not really a daily- more like a bi-weekly along with the rest of the fleet.
