want to cobble together a swampcooler, need dimensions

Well school is ending and for a summer project i would like to try and create a swamp cooler. I would like to try for a thermador style one, but a simple tube would be easier. what would be a big help are all the dimensions (the diameter/length of the drum, length/width of the rectangular part that sticks through the window, and the length of the concave part of the air intake on the front of the drum.

Also if its not too much trouble pics of a ruler placed around a swamp cooler would be great.

Has anyone successfully created a ram air swamp cooler? and if so out of what?

(im thinking if i could find the right materials it could be rat-rod style)

The thing is i would like to do a ram air style one (least i think thats what to call them), the ones that hang off the side of the window. Im doing this as a project and am willing to devote some time to it. id like to do it so it looks cool hanging off the side. (and the idea of water sloshing in a cooler in my car doesn't sound fun)
