I've been told to carry an extra coil, an extra electronic fuel pump (even if you have a manual) and an extra accelerator cable.
What would you all suggest one should have in an emergency kit?

cell phone
tools and parts for things that you know how to fix.

Carry the most common items that may fail or get broken, coil, extra coil wires, distributor cap Etc.
I went out on a trip one time and had an extra starter with me and whole alternator and fan shroud, thats only because they were in the car already and I figured I would take them along  |

| I carry a fan belt, accelerator cable, quart of oil, a cell phone and pair of good walking shoes. Whatever you carry will not be what breaks |
