Hello VW Automobile Enthusiasts,
Would you like to see your vehicle on display at a national level automobile museum?
America On Wheels is an over-the-road transportation museum in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The 43,000 square feet museum offers over 23,000 square feet of exhibit space divided into several main exhibit galleries and other smaller displays. On the first floor you will find some historically significant vehicles powered by steam, electricity, hydrocarbon fuel and Hydrogen.
Also, on the first floor you will find a Mack Truck display. On the second floor the Museum
houses a rotating exhibit of historic and/or interesting vehicles. Also on the second floor is the Hubcap Café’, and a vehicle art gallery.
America On Wheels Museum is a 50lc3 non-profit who show cases unique exhibits, has educational programs and year-round events.

The America on Wheels Museum is looking for vehicles to display in the rotating exhibit gallery on the second floor that we call our “Changing Gallery”. This exhibit room has its vehicles change every six months.
The next display in the Changing Gallery will be Air Cooled Engine Vehicles.
These vehicles will be on display from October 19, 2023, until April 16, 2024 (six-month loan)
The Exhibit will officially open on October 28, 2023
At this time, we are looking for Air Cooled Engine Vehicles and Nostalgic Items (Ads, Catalogs, ETC.) that will showcase their history and would be loaned to the Museum for six months.
As part of the overall exhibit, we are looking for various VW vehicles to display.
Namely, Buses, camper, pickup, beetles, thing, etc. If it is air cooled it will fit. . We are a non-profit museum and therefore are looking ideally for clubs and owners in the eastern Pa, NJ, Del, areas who are interested in having their unique cars displayed at our museum.

Incoming Loan Conditions
1. The Museum will give the objects/vehicles in this loan the same conscientious care it gives its own collections. It is understood that the objects/vehicles in this loan will remain in the condition received and will not be repaired, restored, cleaned, or altered in any way without the permission of the owner. The condition is understood to be as stated on the form.
2. The lender agrees that in the event that any item is lost or damaged, recovery, if any, will be limited to an amount as may be paid by the insurer plus any deductible, hereby releasing the Museum from any further liability for claims arising out of any loss or damage. The Museum will insure the vehicles in amounts acceptable to the lender and with an insurance carrier qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Said insurance shall name the lender as an additional insured. The Museum shall provide the lender with a Certificate of Insurance prior to taking possession of the vehicles and periodically upon the lender’s request throughout the lease term. The Museum shall provide the lender with immediate notice of any termination or cancellation of said insurance.
3. All damages to objects/vehicles at any point in this loan when in the Museum’s care will be reported to the lender immediately.
4. The objects/vehicles will not be lent to a third party without the advance approval of the lender/owner.
5. The lender grants the Museum permission to photograph the objects/vehicles for documentation, educational and publicity purposes. All publications of photographs of objects/vehicles in this loan will bear a credit line acknowledging that the objects/vehicles are the property of the lending institution.
6. The lender and the Museum will agree in advance on arrangements for packing, shipping, insurance, and all other factors of transporting the loaned vehicles. The borrower is responsible for contacting the lender to make arrangements for returning the loan at the time stated.
7. The loan may be terminated with or without cause at any time by the Museum or the lender upon four (4) weeks advance written notice.
8. The Museum agrees to use the loan only for the purposes stated on this form, namely the display of vehicles as part of America on Wheels Museum located at 5 North Front
Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. The loaned vehicles shall not be displayed at any other location without the lender’s express written consent.
9. No more than 2 ½ GALLONS OF GAS TO REMAIN IN TANK when on exhibit
