Just picked up this mouse grey 64 21 window walk thru from my buddy in AZ. Its mostly OG including paint, rust and dents. No interior except for the front seats. It's a little crusty. Needs inner and outer rockers on the driver side. The side belly pans are gone and the floors have some rust here and there but the top half of the bus is pretty dry. I'm going to start off by getting it mechanicaly road worthy, install the sunroof, put in some new rubber, repair the rockers and leave it as much og paint as I can for now. Don't know what I'll do with the nose. I guess I'll beat it out the best I can and leave it for now. Anyway here she is.

There was a thread in the bus forum about using a foot ball and a pump to pop the nose back out. Do a search, most who have done it gave it 2 thumbs up.

Yeah, It was T Bells bus. He had a hard time getting rid of it but he know's that its in good hands. Can't wait to get her on the road. Unfortunatly, other priorities are in the way. Hopefully I'll have her going in a couple weeks. It runs and stops good, just need to work on the electricals before I can register it.

Just finished up the inner and outer driver rocker on the 21 window. Still needs jack points, outriggers and belly pans, but that'll be later. She's got a long way to go, but its comming around.

I used Shoefield inner and outer rocker from Wolfgang. I was pretty happy with the fit and quality.

After 3 years blowing the motor, buying a house, building a motorcycle and all of the other lifes distractions, I finally dug the bus out from the corner of the garage and got it back on the road. I just finished the 1955cc motor a few days ago and put my first 100 miles on it. So far so good. It feels good to get back behind the wheel. Here it is after buffing and a fresh coat of wax.

I'm back on the 21 window again. I just finished up with the skylight windows. I cleaned up the rust, blended the OG paint with some matching touch up and new rubber. It looked a lot worse than it really was. There was only one window with a couple of small pin holes. Everything else was fairly solid.

Keep the posts coming cant get enough of the MG/PW combo.

Just finished up with some paint blending on the driver rocker repair and driver door. The color matched pretty well. I used a bit of flattener in the paint to match the OG shine.

Its been awhile since I last posted on this bus. A few recent updates to speak of. Just finished up hand buffing and waxing. I painted a deluxe front bumper for it about 9 months ago and finally got it color sanded, buffed and installed. I also got a few og interior panels on the way.

Great job. Any tips on how much flattener to add for the blending? I'll be doing the same this winter.

Thanks. There really was no formula for me. I found that a little bit of flattener went a long way. I added a little bit at a time, spayed some on a spray card, let it completely dry and compared it to a buffed out section on the bus. Once I was close on the card, I sprayed it on the bus. At first it looked too dull until I color sanded and buffed. That nocked down the orange peel and brought out some of the shine to match the og paint.
