WolfsburgWest has had those for a while and they are nice.

They are cheaper too.

Those are what I'm rolling on my '64 deluxe. Bought them four years ago.
A nice match for the original, though they are "too white".

You can vinyl spray them an off white and that works pretty well. Latex aerosol paint is another good option.

I can't find any pictures of these installed. Can someone tell me if the screws should be visable (mounted over the headliner) or does the cover go on before the headliner goes in?

Headliner first, these cover the cuts in the liner around the hinge, so yes you do see the screw heads & I believe they are a counter sunk phillips, but may be wrong.

When they first came out you had to drill your own holes. Don't know about now. They will "yellow" a tad after a few years.

WCM makes their own and have been for a while......abs plastic. ill probably put some on soon but cant bear to remove the originals since they are nice , just yellowed. and i would hate to mess up the headliner in some way!!

I have a Wolfsburg West set and one NOS one. There are some slight differences, mainly the appearance around the screw holes.

And of course they are too white but I painted them with some Ivory paint and they are much closer to the NOS piece.

Even the NOS one is yellowed a little.

I've searched and can't find a spec for what screws hold these covers on. Does anyone know the screw type? In looking at it I can't even tell if it's a machine screw or sheet metal type.

TIA
