Hey guys. My 84 westfalia is running fine at 145,000 miles on the original engine but someone recently asked me if I were interested in a 2002 subaru engine that they only want some body parts off the car.
If I were to take the engine, what would I want to remove from the subaru for a future swap into my westfalia? |

get ya a cordless Sawzall and a pack of metal blades, and chop the car just behind the A-pillars.
Tow home and store for a rainy day.

You should take the transmission, starter motor, flywheel, clutch and exhaust headers as well.

If you have the donor car remove all the metric nuts & bolts you can grab as well as the wiring harness from the rear of the car for future use

GoWesty sells modified WBX'er, they will not have a donor list. If they do, I'll eat my hat (anyone else old enough to remember that saying?  )
