Hey guys i bought an early 49 split, Januar 49 and want to know untill when the used banana bumpers and wht else ist specific for the built date. Mine has split bumpers grooved ones mounted rigth now and i want to know if that is correct.

I think they changed them along with the dropping of the turn handle front hood and the introduction of the right dash pod insert in early may.
Seventh of may or so?
So january had bananas for sure.

| I would agree - May 49 changeover. It's a priveledge to have a car with banana overriders! |

From chassie number 1-0 102 948 and date 1949-05-01 there was new bumper.
