| Do all Manx & Manx clones lean toward the passenger side? If so, is this just part of the character or is there a fix. I've spoke to a several people and some say yes and some no. What do you guys think. Thanks! |

I think I have no idea what you're talking about. Is it a body deformity, or a suspension issue that causes this 'lean?' _________________ Organized people are just too lazy to look for stuff

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Mine was the same way. I say "was" because it's all taken apart right now. Before I did that, I noticed how the passenger side seemed to visually be a bit lower. I measured up from the floor of the garage against a level, and the measurements came out the same on both sides - implying that it was not leaning. However, I could actually SEE it. I am finishing up the pan now with all new parts - including the front end. I'm curious to see if now the car sits straight with the body back on. _________________ Jay

| To me their asymmetry is part of their charm, and possibly a clue to how many were ripped off from one original. There is one quirk I'm not fond of and that's the way the body sometimes wraps too far around the torsion tube housing on the right hand side. I've seen a couple of different buggies that do it, apart from my original manx. |

I don't know about the lean. However on many buggies I believe the right rear wheel sticks out farther than the left. Maybe it's the other way around. I can't remember. |

If they were not right on on the Plug or the original sculpt then every part from there on will be off. The mold will just replicate it.
Mine hase a strange shape on the ft. where the headlights mount. Not sure if it's a Kyote thing or done by the guys who cloned the Kyote and made mine. I believe the Kyote started as a Manx clone originally as well.
Funny thing is it's not like it would have been that difficult to just build your own plug form scratch and have your own unique body instead, But then most people that do that sorta thing don't have an artsitic eye in the first place so they might not be able to pull it off. That would explain some of the weird clones out there. But theres also some really nice ones as well.
I really like the Mini-T's. I know some people just can't stand them but I like them. |

...of course, 'passenger side' refers to 'drivers side' in South Africa. And if you stand behind my buggy, it leans to the right. South African steering wheel side _________________ Please say Hi to us at

| Mine does this too, the height of the body at the sides is different. The right hand side is lower on mine. It's a genuine meyers manx (australian) |

When Bruce came to Australia in Easter of 1997, he talked to us about the shaping of the first Manx and I recall be noted how difficult it was to eyeball one guard, I don't remember which one he mentioned.
I think he said that in the end he had to get someone to help him finish one of the guards because he got sick of it not going the way he wanted. |

Then Adriaan and I are in some real trouble, our fat butts reside on the same side as the starboard list
Sorry for making presumptuous remarks regarding the proportions of your posterior Adriaan I know it's true in my case |

mine is off too.
I made a 2 inch lift and had room to shuffle but I decided to comprimise.
