| I have a bug (12V) running 57 rear tail lights with 1157 bulbs, has anyone tried the SYLVANIA ZEVO 1157 Red LED Bulb as a better option |

I deceided to purchase these bulbs (SYLVANIA ZEVO 1157 red
LED Bulbs) from Amazon, came today and installed them and first impression was an improvement, that was viewing them from inside the garage this evening. |

Yes, a red LED would be a fairly noticeable improvement for 12v tail lights ... and a HUGE improvement in a 6v system. Also a lower current draw in a 6v system ... which matters a bit more than in a 12v system. _________________ Tom

| I have watched a couple Youtube videos with different styles of 1157 led bulbs in white light and red and this bulb seemed to look the best choise. They came to me for $23 shipped , when I unpacked them I was supprised of the weight and length, they have what lookes to be a diflector/heat sink in the front, over time I"ll see how that may effect the tail light lens its self. |
