A few people have asked for a separate category for "Vanagons". Opinions?
There are 50 Vanagon ads right now so it's more than the # of Things for sale... |

yes do it make a section for vanagons/eurovans. not in the forums though vanagons will soon become collectable vehicles and already have reached cult status , there lots of rare and expensive ones around i think the vanagons/ eurovans deserve their own classifieds section |

eurovan? hell no, then what? a seperate category for rabbits, jettas and passats? we need to keep this site aircooled, that being said, maybe a category for 80 to 83 vanagons but thats pushing it. hey everett, i really want a seperate category for dashers! |

I don't think Vanagons will achieve collector status anytime soon, Bay Window Buses are barely there.
Dashers rock, that reminds me I need to go buy my neighbor's Dasher, original owner, black, sweet!!! |

Everett, Are you talking about a category for Vanagons in the classifieds or in the forums? Because I would like to see a classified section for Vanagons! There are ton of Vanagon adds on Auto Trader.com.
Hell I would love to see a Rabbit , jetta or passat section and I would really love to see a Dasher classified section, I am alwys looking for another Dasher, but they do not exist in MI. I would love to find a clean Dasher! I still say that my 77 Dasher was the best car I ever had! |

I got the impression that the other category in classifieds would cover the vanagons, jettas, foxes, etc, as well as what ever else somebody wants to trade for an aircooled vw that they've always wanted but never had. Jeremy |

A Classifieds section only.
Yes, the Other category is for watercooled or other VWs.
Most people put the Vanagons in the Bus - 68-up category. |

(air cooled only) after 68-up bus might work instead of watering down your site. |

Diesel rabbits last longer than any other vehicle I have ever seen! My 80 grand father will not drive anything but, why you ask? because he is the biggest penny pincher known to man! He drives a sedan in the winter, it has 350,000 miles on it! He drives a pickup in the summer, it only has 250,000 on it. It still runs and drives like brand new! Keep oil in um, glow plugs in um and a timing belt on them and you have the most reliable vehicle known to man. |

You are absolutely correct on that one.My father put 200,000 on his,and just changed the oil/filter and timing belt. But they aint pretty! |
