Just looking for some new options I may not know about.

Not looking for an engine site, just everything else.

CIP1 sells many of the Wolfsburg West items, often for less. I got a driver's side rocker and driver's floor from them that still had part of the WW stickers on them!

I haven't purchased from CPi1 yet, but I noticed their prices seemed to be decent. They are having an on-line sale on EMPI Style 5 spoke wheels. I'm thinking of getting a set for my 67.

WW, cannot be beat. Heard lots of good things about BFY though. Lots of others for engine stuff, but that is another story.

Been waiting 2 months for a side tent from Bus Depot...

The Munich tent was on factory backorder for a couple of months (as our website noted). However, they have since come in, and I believe all backorders have been filled, so yours is probably en route. If you would PM me your name I can confirm this for you.

Cool! Sounds about right from when I called a couple weeks ago.

Ron, you should kick the supplier hard for that slip in delivery time... Granted I hear it is an excellent product so hopefully the wait is worth it!

It was a case of unfortunate timing. I had a container leaving Europe in June and the tents were supposed to be on it. As luck would have it, they were delayed and missed the container. So I wound up having to ship a container with a bunch of empty space that I'd already paid for, and then import the tents separately on pallets and clear them at customs myself. This cost me a few weeks of time (and pretty much killed my profit on them, since I basically paid to ship them twice Crying or Very sad ). But about 15 people were already waiting for them by then, so I had to do whatever it took. So I really can't blame the supplier entirely. They only ran a couple of weeks late (not an incredibly long backorder in the VW parts world), which would have been a non-issue if they hadn't happened to literally "miss the boat" as a result.

I think you'll be happy with the tent, though. I still have (and regularly use) the original 1980's OEM tent that it's based on, and a good friend of mine has the updated version we sell now. In this case the copy is definitely improved over the original; much easier to set up, and more configurable.

BTW I still need your name to confirm that yours shipped. PM me. I think we got them all out but there could be one or two stragglers since I haven't run a report yet. I want to make sure.

Thanks for the feedback;
I agree with all of the posts and will add Jbugs. Good website.
I called up in a pinch with a busted generator and Gary pieced together a whole 12V kit and shipped it out that day.
