I have 2 questions for the Vanagon crowd...
1 - Mind if I join your ranks?
2 - Think the auction I just one was worth it?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...AMEWA%3AIT
Hopefully I will pick it up later tonight or tomorrow...
I'm gonna have to sell something off soon or the wife will kill me.... _________________ In search of a Vanagon

Body looks nice if that is the original paint job. It'll be more of a pain to put a suby in it when the engine goes since it's aircooled. |

Pain - schmain...it should be fun...
Thanks all...I have a pop-up camper right now that we have been using for the last couple of summers but always wanted a late 70's fat chick or a vanagon with the newer interior. I now need to get rid of the pop-up and then probly the exploder I used to tow it...
Can I put a hitch on it and tow a couple of dirt bikes with it? Looking at less than a 1200 lbs tow... _________________ In search of a Vanagon

Thanks for the info...
Picked it up...It runs pretty dang good with a little oil leak. It's not as good as I had hoped, but it is in good shape. It was repainted not long ago and has a couple drip spots and was not very carefully taped off but not horrible looking.
I think it's going to make a great family get away camper... _________________ In search of a Vanagon
