Prolly no help, but have a phone number for you, if they don't know, they know people that do. You are probably not in Oregon, so will be long distance.
Discount Import Parts 503-659-7444
They have an 800 number but I don't have their card on me.

depends what kind of money you have. and which engine you have , if its a 16v you can do a few things but its expensive and not worth it. the best thing you can do is do an engine swap , a vr6 is my recomendation you can have a conversion done with parts for 4.
and the vr6 is also highly tunable. but if your on a budget slap on some bbs mesh wheels, a supersprint exhaust and have fun with the car.
oh and check out www.vwvortex.com

DON'T buy any of that crap from vw vortex. Its all over priced low quality CRAP. If your SERIOUS about your engine lasting and getting decent power out of it go to Techtonics Tuning www.tttuning.com thats right 3 t's they have the only chips that dont over advance your engine especially if you have a 16 valve motor. get your head polished add some good valve springs ( a cam if you don't have to worry about emissions) k&n filter , a header and cat-back exhaust. this with a chip will add at least 20-25 hp. to your engine but you will need to run good gas. Check the site out you will appreciate anything you buy from them. |

all that for a mere 3 grand. but if it is indeed a 16v then its a 1.8 which is probably worn out. its not practical to drown money into it when there are alternatives such as engine swaps.
you could get a cam , for 400usd for a 16v the gains are about 15-17 horses. |
