I need to take off the rear apron and put a cage there in it's place. The books and sites I have tried offer little advice and I can't find any good bajas around here to look at. Could anybody post a picture off the cuts that were made for the rear? I need this crap off so I can start building up my first baja. Oh, it's a 1970 if that helps any. Thanks in advance!

You cut just below the vents that are under the rear window straight down, do not cut the vents out under the window. Thats the safe way to do it until you see how you want it, theres really no rule it depends on how you like it, just remember not to cut anything structural or any mounting points. Check out the many baja bug web sites that are out there to look at pics and goto this forum for really good advice: http://members4.boardhost.com/BajaFleg/

Justin, E mail me your address and i can send a good pic of my rear end area. the baja kit also decides where to cut, Mount the fiberglass where you want and use that for cut lines. Also, Baja Bugs and Buggies by Jeff Hibbard is a great reference, mine is all tattered and worn, Check e bay or amazon. Jason (Another yellow baja too)
