Do you mean the overhang visor above the windshield in front like the splittys have?

I thought I saw something like that on a bay once, but I can't recall where I saw it.

Its an australian accessory. Not too common anywhere else. JustKampers probably has a line on one. There were a couple for sale at the Litchfield show. Personally I think they look hokey. Like a poker visor. Reminds me of an old lady making her way down the street with a walker.

OUCH!!! I would have bought one for my bus at Litchfield, but would have had to have help to get it to a wrap and ship place. Too big for my rental car and walker 8) Still interested in your rebuilt steering box Step.
any progress yet?

I kinda like the idea, but the one in the pic above is not too pretty. I just repainted the metal part of my dash and I would like the sun to keep from destroying it. So, I was going to look in to these visor things too, somewhere down the line. or maybe see about tinting the windsheild. There has got to be a way to make the visor look a little better.

Ditto on the appearance deficit of that big ol' visor over the prow of that world-traveling camper. Beauty, like porn, is in the mind of the beholder!

OTOH I sure do like the 4" tint band I put at the top of windshield in our '68. Yeah, I know... some people hate 'em. With a tinted windshield & in-the-glass "shade band", it would be even nicer.

The Westy will get a dark color custom dashcover once the gauge package is finished, to further absorb the sunlight striking/decaying/reflecting off the dashboard.
