The 'bleeder' valve broke off on my LPG tank, and the tank and valves are 20 years old, so I figure I need to replace some parts, I heard PPL motor homes had the fill valve, regulator and the bleed valve (which seems like it is part of the fill valve),
I called PPL and they had no idea what aWestfalia was, told me they could not sell gas valves to the general public, etc. etc. BlahBlahBlah
Does anyone have the part numbers and a source for the valves so I can test my frig anf stove, I want to go camping!
For what its worth, Camo westy will actually be Olive Drab westy. I am going to paint the body O.D., and the fibergalss top recoat white, and put a yellow stripe around the base of the fibergalss for visibility, then stencil
B-025 on the front and rear corners.... The van livesd in Arizona for 15 years and there is not much paint left on it, primer was definitely gray. |

I bought my fill and shut off valve from them just last month (search previous posts, theres links even pictures ). Its just "universal" stuff. The bleeder/purge valve I used is for a compressor drain and I bought it at a hardware store, the only thing the guy that checked over my work and filled the tank did not like about it was that it exits the gas striaght out instead of off to the side. _________________ Markus |
