If I cut out the front suspension off a super beetle and installed a reg. beetle front suspension, what would be the maximum lift I could get out of it?

i'm not gonna say it can't be done- but it will be damn tough, and probably would be a hell of a lot cheaper to sell your super and start with a good standard. the turnk is designed differently, which means basically cutting out all of the trunk floor, then cutting away the frame head, installing a new frame head... etc., etc.,

VWs ain't about lift. You can install a wide front beam, get some honkin' trailing arms, some big bucks spindles, install a pan spacer to lift the body, and run those 38s you want, but it ain't gonna do much for you. what you gain in "up", you lose in "go" and unless you have 19 inch biceps, you are gonna find that turning the steering wheel is gonna be a serious workout with that kind of rubber up front. What do you want your car to do? Are you lookin at creating a serious rock crawler, pre-runner, or street-poser?

How about a Jeep frame with the super sittin pretty on top. You sound like a truck guy, like bljones said, The super is not designed for any good suspension mods, except lowering, which is the wrong way you want to go. Good luck Jason

The only way to easily switch the front end of a super beetle is to cut the whole front clip off and weld in a non super front clip. YOu could get lift from a super somehow easier than going through that.
