I was given a 1971 or 1972 911 targa, it has no motor but everything else is there. I was wondering if you can put a vw or a 914 (2.0) engine in it? I know the 76 912E had a 2.0 in it. Any direction would be helpful.
Thanks Steve.

There is a lot of info. To start look at this
http://www.geocities.com/clarkblumberg/911-912page9.html

check out
www.pelicanparts.com
www.shoptalkfourms.com
www.germanlook.com
www.912bbs.org

Most of those sites will give you info on putting a T4 into your 911.
Good luck

Bryan

Sure easy swap in as the early 911's had the exact same tranny but flipped compared to a 914.
