|
|
Hi all,
I am new to the site and really hoping that someone can help me ?
I'm looking for a build thread / step by step guide on how to extend the wheelbase in the front of a VW beetle.
I believe it's called, the SOCAL look ?
I am from S.A. and can't find the awesome bolt on kits I've seen on sites from abroad. (believe me, I've looked)
People haven't really caught on the the VW revolution here yet.
If someone made a bracket / used an equivalent of some kind, please...
Any helpful links will be most appreciated.
Thank you |

Would suggest checking out volksrods.com You have to sign up, but there is a LOT of info there for doing what you want. Also places like speedwaymotors.com has kits but I think that they are for using early Ford front axles. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone 1914. Ex wifes car.

| There's a registered user on Volksrods.com that sells bolt on beam extenders (Although I still think some bracing may be required). As said above I'm sure there are tons of build threads to be seen. |
