Great paint job on this The didn't bother to take out the switches on the dash and the nuts are painted over. Also, the dome light switch in the door is painted over. No engine tar board either. Missing the bumper brakes going to the overiders, the frunk has a bad paint job. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2393090 |
this car has been listed for 14K for weeks on other sites too. looks like he's on his way back down to earth. |

Also weird he's offering to include a ball joint beam setup, at additional charge, for a link pin car. |

The owner started working for Volkswagen 55 years ago which would put him in his mid-70s now -------- and we all know how those old guys get sometimes. |

Is that supposed to be original paint?
I don't recognize the color and it looks like the engine tin and decklid drain tray match too... which screams repaint to me

When the rubber snubbers on the apron are painted the same color as the car I think you can safely claim it's a repaint. If you go to the google photo link he posted, you can see the body has been off the pan at some point (non standard pan bolt in one pic), painted wire looms, and the entire trunk is white. So yes, a paint job.
If it were a '60 I'd be calling. Haha.https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNepOaXxhUG_8...NRQm9rZ1dn |
