I have an idea to run by you guys.
I have been wanting a set of 2x3 rear arms forever now and just came up with the idea of putting type 1 bearing carriers into a set of 3x3 micro stub or aluminum bolt in arms which should make them at least 1/2 inch narrower. This would basically create a 2.5x3 inch arm. Should work right?

I was going to do the same thing and in fact bought a pair of new suspension unlimited 3x3 microstub arms at a deal and I bought a pair of new T1 bearing carriers that were in cut up new arms that someone had as a project. I had started using a plasma cutter to trim off the metal to a weldable plate so I could weld the hubs onto the 3x3 after centering them in the microstub hole. There would be plating needed to support the new carrier on the inside. I can't finish the project because I bought a new project. I would make a great deal on them if you were looking.
