I had a pair of german door seals installed in my 58 Convertible Bug. For some reason, my doors are very difficult to close and threw the door alignment off. Does anyone have any tips to properly installing door seals? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

how is it off?
does it sag or just isnt hitting the plate right. You can move ur plate around for it to close better. If the door is sagging You can move the pin and adjust that or get new pins.

you have to give the seals some time to break in - i still have a hard time closing the door to my single cab, especially with the windows closed, even after a year of having the new seals put in...

Thanks for the tips guys. The door isn't sagging, it doesn't line up properly with the body...it's about 1/8 off. It seems as though the rubber is very firm and doesn't give any.

Try some lubricant like talcum powder, cornstarch, or dry silicone lubricant spray.
