been meaning to put a proper update on the car on here, so here goes!
the engine is in the car and almost all the plumbing for the turbo 1600 is sorted. i just have to redo the exhaust and wastegate pipes.
the wheels will need a new coat of semi-gloss black and bullet centers added.
there is LOTS of wiring to do!
i will also put in a headliner before spring.
seats are custom and sit low enough to compensate for using a later t3 pan.
the suspension is IRS now so the rear wheels have minimal negative camber.
i am still sourcing something to use for the fog lamp area and i have 1 of the two turn signals.
and i think i need to put some 195/50/15s on the rear to match the look of the 165/45/15s on the front.

currently i'm torn between the 2110 i have or the 1600t... this will be a street car only. the 2110 is mild and around 130hp. the 1600t with 7.5 obs of boost will be about 90hp, but definitely different. decisions, decisions... _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

what do you think of doing the stock wheels in a metallic bronze with the stainless trim rings and chrome bullets/lug bolts? _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Maybe if you go 5 lug like the car should have.. I think 4 lug rims are nasty...
Cool car though. Black type 34s are bad ass! _________________ To his their own PBJ

sorry... not giving up disk brakes and the offset is perfect for the lack of altitude. i'm trying to avoid the black, red or white wheel if i can, but am not sure what colors would work and still work with the shiney trim ring and bullet center. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

The lines on these Ghia's are really strong so I don't think putting more lines on it would make it look better.
If you choose to do scallops I figure it's better to let them follow the lines
of the design that are allready there.
Just a thought.... _________________ www.volksfahrer.nl

I agree. leave the scallops off of a car with so much going on already. _________________ RIP HBB

You should put a hoodride stencil on it. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
