|
|
Hello all,
Planning on repopping the rear trunk liner
The idea:
Lasercut 5mm MDF to EXACT specs - put "some" hours in getting the drawing CORRECT
Fasty - Notch and Square will be available
On vinyl printed colour and decals (scanned from an original)
Then covered with a scratch resistant vinyl textured layer to resemble the oem texture and for protection of course
As the vinyl is rather expensive and it's a large area I NEED 10 takers for sure !
It's a now or never offer as the sticker guy will set me back for 10 covers already $ 1000
Other possibility in case of no intrest would be delivering a scale 1 to 1 print of the main drawing which you can cut out of MDF yourself - paint it and put vinyl decals on it
To be honest I think this is a non option to me / purists as the cost of the lasercut MDF is cheapish and finished perfectly !
It's al in the vinyl !
10 takers please !

So whats the breakdown Ber? Is that $100 ea plus shipping for 10 that you will have made?
Yes this cut out should fit the square. Not the notch unless you cut the sides down. _________________

Check the template - already incorporated
All correct openings - cuts - humps etc are there !
Did you know for example there is a small cut-out where the strap of the square lid is attached !

Made some calculations
For the moment:
USD 150 postage included for a full cover printed in colour with decals and layered with textured anti scratch vinyl cover
AND
a printed template with all the correct cut-outs for your type only
Cut it out in the material of your choice - put the vinyl on and remove the eccess material
NOTE the vinyl will be square with the holes for the engine lid holes cut out smaller to use as a guide so the decals line up
Again only with 10 takers !
I am waiting for quotes of the lasercutter company for complete finished by me liners !

You know it. I'm assuming I'll have to "cut/ fit" for the T34?
I'm interested in two more as well (for future projects), but down the road. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

I guess I can draw a template of the T34 rear liner too
The lid is the same so it's less work anyway
The liner / vinyl will be as big as the fasty / square liner as those are the biggest in size
BTW that only makes it 3 !
T34 owners step up please !
