I'm sure others will disagree with me, but wherever I've needed to use actual grease, I've chosen the same stuff as VW used for CV joints, moly-added grease.
which is pretty much the same stuff as this (assuming this is still around, I took this photo a dozen years ago)

Red Line CV-2 Grease
Expensive but its one job I never want to do twice. |

| I like good syn greessee.not teflon it will distroy bearings,Im not sure moly is good for bearings, molly is great for sliding as is teflon(moly is better and last longer).no white lithium greessee either. cv's slide.they require a sliding greessee like moly, wheelbearings do not need to slide.I like syn because it's cold ability and it dosent wear out. |

| After much review reading i decided to go with the syn power synthetic bearing grease , will see how it works out , thanks again to all who posted . |
