Do 50s single window seals fit on late models?

I'm trying to gather info to perform a successful single window conversion on the door glass for my late model type 1. I recently found out that 51 splits came from the factory without vent windows...Can I use the old style window rubber to make the conversion successful on my 74?

yes on pre 65 cars , but you will first have to get your doors empty , then weld felt channel brackets and by last get the steel felt channels ....

i don`t think you can use split parts on 65 and up cars ....
