I'm considering a '71 Superbeetle as a tow car behind my motorhome. There is one on Ebay in good shape going for between 2 & 3,000. It is an automatic, can this be towed as is?

I had a '72 super auto and I towed it a few times. Just put it in neutral and make sure the e brake is off. Neutral is in the same place as manuals, right in the middle. There are only 3 gears, low, high and reverse so it is pretty easy.

Hope it helps.
