Hey whats up well or down
I have a 1973 super with front lowering struts
and used the original springs and it slamed my super in the weeds, but I can still drive like a maniac. theres only one problem I ordered the wrong back spaceing on my front wheels and it rubbs a little.check out california imports or some of the ads in the hot vdub magazines.also the back I lowered by adjusting the rear torsion bars/I should have purchased the adjusting plates to fine tune the in the weeds look, but you learn as you go. good luck I just finished my super it took 3 years.its a custom classic with a little attitude.

Hey dude,
I just lowered my 72 SB all the way around. I did the front suspension myself and used the adjustable struts (from Cal. Imports), strut inserts for adjustable struts (from Cal. Imports), lowering springs, rubber stop, and dust cap (from the Real Source), strut mount (BFY obsolete), I also replaced the ball joints, sway arm bushings, control arm bushings. It's low, low. It looks awesome! I have one problem, my tires scrap on real hard turns, but I love my 5.60x15 1" whitewall Firestones, so think about what tires you will use and how much you'll be driving it. I must confess, I didn't lower the rear end, I was just to chicken to mess with the torsion bars. I found a guy to do it for $150 and it was well worth it for me.
Good Luck. Now go lower that baby! Pete
