I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH JAKUB ON THIS ONE... IF YOU PUT ALL OF THAT MONEY INTO FIXING IT THEN TURNING AROUND AND TRYING TO SELL IT ITS NOT GONNA BE WORTH IT.. BUT WHY SELL IT WHEN YOU CAN ENJOY OWNING A SUPER BEETLE.. WELL THATS JUST MY OPINION.. HOPEFULLY YOU KEEP IT

Sounds like it needs alot... maybe keep it as a parts car and buy another with the $$$$ you would spend to fix it up...???
or figure out what that cost( fixing it up) would be and what you might get for selling the one you have, add that together and then see what else you could buy for that price range.... |

| The Super was supposed to be better in several respects: better handling, more trunk room, more visible (bigger tail lights). Being a late model the tranny's ratios are probably better suited for highway driving. So for daily driving it's probably better than a standard. But for profit, not as good. Not yet. For that, fix it up and keep it around 10 - 15 years. Then you'll make some money off it. |

| ...let'as just say you put $6,000 into it... where can you get a "new" car for 6K - that should be a selling point (if you decide to sell her). Otherwise, if you drive her for 30 years, where can you find a car for $200 a year... It's all in the perspective. |
