|
|
I got this last week. =)
I did a list of all the Baja Bugs I have at home, and looks like they'll all fit in this case. =) I brought the case home this Friday since I can't take pics the whole week. My hands were itching to set my baja bugs loose.
Here is the first victim.
Ah! The feeling of ripping the blister off the card is just priceless!
The other loose baja bugs were excited to see their new home.
And they had to try it...
Looks good! Now, time to bring more baja bugs!
Dealer's Choice and Race Track Baja Bugs!
My customized Baja Bugs - Shell Baja and Primer Number 1
And now, some MOC bugs - the 2006 mainline variants...
Tropicool Baja Bugs - the big rear wheel and small rear wheel variants...
Flat black Baja Bug with the very first Baja Bug I got from the pegs.
Buggin' Out Baja Bug and Blue HW Baja Bug.
That takes care of the mainlines!
Now, let's kick things up a notch!
Kar Keepers Baja Bugs!
Mystery Car and MACE Baja Bug!
Yey! Fresh air at last!
Down 'N Dirty Baja Bugs!
Now, meet the whole Baja Bug family!
Here's the aftermath...
Now, how should I arrange these for display?
By color?
All red...
Orange...
La Blue Bugs...
Yellow...
White...
Gray/Silver
And the singles, Black and Green...
Or should I organize them by series?
Mystery Car/Kar Keepers Baja Bugs...
Maybe separate the Baja Bugs with rubber tires?
Just playing around with the camera..
Now, here's all of my Hotwheels Baja Bugs. Maybe you could help me snatch what I'm missing here. I plan to separate my custom Baja Bugs when I finish more of them.
1st row, L to R
custom baja Primer # 1, custom Shell Baja Bug, Tropicool small wheels, Tropicool big wheels
2nd row, L to R
Dakar Baja Bug, KK Green, KK Orange, Silver mainline
3rd row, L to R
2006 Blue mainline, 2006 gray mainline, race track baja bug, Timeless Toys baja bug
4th row, L to R
Blue HW, Dealer's Choice series, Race Team series, BWF baja bug
Last row, L to R
buggin' out series, redline 2 series
Thanks for looking! |

| I'm not into either Bajas or Hot Wheels but that does make a nice looking collection. Where did you get that case? It works very nice for that purpose. |

thanks guys! i got the case from the toy department of a local mall. i bet the managers noticed that more collectors have been shopping there, so they started selling these.
about the server thing, i didn't upload these pics on the samba. they're linked from my photobucket account. will that still cause problems with the server? sorry about that, guys! |

I have found that the old cassette tape holders work great. If you take out every-other row you get the room you need. You can pick them up at yard sales for $.25
or you can go for the big boys...

Thats a great Idea! I have a ton of these things around that I don't use anymore too. Thanks for the suggestion. _________________ 1957 Karmann Ghia

My thoughts exactly! I always buy at least two of the Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars. Sometimes, you just have to play. _________________ VW-less right now...looking
