Brosol H30/31 Throttle Return Spring

Good AM,

I have a H30/31 carb with a throttle return spring that has just a little more tension then the stock spring. This was done so that the throttle arm goes back onto the throttle cam with no hesitance or issues (so that it idles right). Will this tension damage the carb in any way from being a little tighter. thanks

it shouldnt i did that on many of my aircooled engines, no problem noted?!!
