door adjustment

Is there a way to adjust the doors on a 72 super? When I go to close the doors the bottom of the door(below the door handle) hits the heaterchannel.. Is there a way that you can raise that part of the door up? I have not tried to mess with it yet.. Wanted to get some info on it.

this works better with an assistant. loosen the 6 bolts holding the door on, may need an impact screwdriver, try to get it so fit correctly, then re-tighten the bolts. if this doesnt work, hinges may be sagging from years of use.

Hey Brad thanks for the reply... The doors were removed when I started to restore the car. The doors were working fine when they were removed. I have sinced re-attached them and now thay seem to sag.. (*scratching head*)

i went through the same thing with my last car, about a year before it cought fire and burned everything but the front hood Smile
