Oval Beetle

Is there anyone who might be interested in a 1956 beetle? It's not original! It's on a 1969 pan. It has a newer engine and runs good. It was rear ended before I bought it, but I have a new rear apron and engine lid that just hasn't been put on. It needs painting. The interior is in good shape, the headliner is a little rough. There are a couple of scratches and dents, but nothing that isn't fixable. She's in good shape. I'm thinking I'm going to have to sell it because I'll have to get a newer vehichle to go to college. I was just wondering what the market was like for something like this. If you are interested or have any advice or whatever, let me know. I've just been in the VW business for a little over a year and any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

No offense, but is this the same '56 that is having trouble running? If so, it may be worth at least 500-2500, depending on how good of shape the car is in...

yeah true it's been having problems, but that's gonna be fixed before I sell it. I don't want to sell someone a car that has the ability to run but just has a minor glitch. It's at the mechanics now and all. I didn't take offense. Thanks for replying. I won't sell her until it is fixed simple as that. If it takes another 3 months then so be it, but we know what the problem is so we just have to replace the parts. Thanks for your time.

Where are you located? Most people wont look twice at an oval on an IRS pan, but what the hell, I got some extra money sittin around, maybe I'll buy it...

Hey Adam, I know you sai that you got a trailer hitch on that Super Beetle with the curb finders but damn, that's a little too far to be driving. Then towing it back....man, you are crazy. The flames on that super make it looks like it's going 120 mphs. That thing is sweet.

We've been having problems with the generator, so we have finally figured out exactly what it is and now hopefully have the new parts to fix it. We're putting an alternator on it and it should be all better then.

Ok well my bro HATES VWS, so that aint gonna help the situation. All I could think of was the cheesesteaks also, but thre is a philly steakout place by my house that has authentic sandwiches that are good, and no need to go to dirty Philly....

Now if it were ME coming to Philly, this would be a different situation....

Adam in Vegas, we could defenitly use some more dub people in Philly...... there is a huge lack of people here and of rust free cars. I have always been interested in starting up a buiessness dealing with that. Anyway, I got one good reason and that is Philly Cheesesteaks. Other than that, it is equivalent to any metro area. Any one else care to add to this?
