Nah... your project is big, but I assure you, someone spent an alltogether different amount on a RUF tuned 993 Eurovan.

I've priced new aircraft turbines that cost less than that van conversion must have!

not my project Laughing

heh, some people just want what they want. for me, a Cayenne is just wrong. a Porsche should be low fast and rear or mid engined not a glorified station wagon...to me, my intermecchanica is more Porsche in it's little heart than a Cayenne.

I agree it's odd, but there are worse persuits for humans.

I think these outrageous projects are pretty cool. It seems we all want power upgrades, Subaru, 1.8T, you name it. Engine swaps and customizing has been the backbone of male car ownership since the 50's, concidering the filming from a chopper I don't think money is an issue. Rolling Eyes

Hey... at least they've got a driver that can handle vans at high speeds! Looks like fun! Not what I'm after, but I'd love to take it for a spin.

That thing is sick. Somewhere in Europe someone is having a lot of fun. I'd love to have that thing for just a day and roll up on a Firebird, or Camaro, Vette, M3, AMG, and of course some ricers and just TEASE them. Like the Firebird I saw today whose license plate reads U MY PREY.

The Cayenne saved Porsche, without it they would not be able to compete in the SUV crazed world. But they sure are ugly.

Cayenne ruined porsche, made them just like everyone else, who for some reason think that they need an SUV, that isn't what a porshe IS!!!! I think they are ugly, and although I haven't driven one, I would think that I would surely be dissapointed in its performance with that badge on the front.
