So how many Split owners arebringing their cars to the Classic this year? Stock / Custom?
I missed last year but I heard it was a good turnout. Anyone? |

| I'm not. Especially if I have to spend an hour and a half in line riding the clutch like in 2005. |

I know that line gts really long. I try to get there early to avoid the need to ride the clutch that long.
I am hoping ot see some really nice cars this year. I was bummed I missed last years.
Anyone else coming out? |

I'll miss the classic this year. I've traded "BC" for it this time.
Too far to drive my cars anyway....

| the one thing that sucks about going to the classic is afterwards all the other shows here in the U.S. just don't compare. but i'll be there this year. |

I used to avoid the line by getting into the Irvine meadows parking lot the night before for whatever concert was going on, I think it was the Cure or the Clash one year then another year it was Aerosmith or AC-DC or something, we sort of just hung out at the Classic tent and made sure all the parking lot hooligans stayed away from all the folding chairs and stuff

| Yeah Ill be there riding the clutch, but so what!!!----it's great to be a part of the Greatest VW show on earth=(in My opinion). Hunting for treasure--making the rounds three or four time's sucken down a few COLD ONE's. Checkin out the ( Oh lord let it be a Hot day) So Cal Sweetie's in their less than normal wear's=Yes!!------ Oh yes!!!!!!!------- I- WILL- BE- THEIR!! |
