This car came from the secound owner who has had the car since 74, the car is a 73 out of New Mexico and has been in a garage all of its life. The only thing done so far was lower the rear 2 notches, narrow the front 3 in, dropped spindles, adjusters, disc front brakes, and drilled for 5x100 so I could install 06 New Beetle 17in wheels. The tires are 205 40 R17 front and 225 45 R17 rear. I will be recovering the seats next and driving the piss out of it!!!

How about the AC? Yes it works!!

I've can't stop working on this car! I haven't touched my 62 Rag much, but this is the car as it sits now. I have only a few things left to do, I want to buff the car and make rear spacers for the center caps and I'm done. I can't beleive the looks this car gets its a true blast.
This is the first cuts to making the seats low backs.

Prestons Upholstery in Irving did the covers for me, when I worked at V-Dub Folks and Metro Volkswagen he did all of our Vw's. He knows both the new and old cars!!!

Love the fatty! Nice work with the front seats, looks kick ass! Only thing I don't like are the big wheels, just my 2 cents. I'd find some 4 lug BRM's or SPRINTS... Keep up the good work man!
