is it posible and what all would it take to put a 80 911 porsche engine in a 67 vw bettle? A co - worker has the bug and a friend has the motor. He was just curious if he could do it and if it would bolt right up or would he have to have a adapter. And if you do where could he find the equipment to do this.

ps. the guy took the porsche motor out and fabed a chevy LS1 corvett motor in his porsche. Its fast!!!!

| It has been done, and i'v actually seen pics of it. the guy said it was alot of work and money. the trans needs to definitley be beefed up, a traction bar is a must, the frame horns need to be reinforced, and it needs a custom rear engine hanger. i'm sure there's more, but i just can't remeber all he told me. |
