I am looking to confirm the sizes of these compressor fittings without removing them. Does anyone have any insight?

The compressor appears to be this one:
https://www.partdeal.com/sanden-compressor-model-s...omega.html

This site (and several others) mention "HTO" fittings but I'm not sure what that means.

Thanks for any help!

I am guessing you question is more something like "what compressor shall get?"..is it?

and to answer your specific question -

hard to say with the info/pic you have...typically they would be #10 and #8 similar to this https://vintageair.com/sanden-sd-508-rear-exit-com...ed-finish/

getting the part number off your existing compressor (looks like there is a tag in your pic) would be the best way to start. this could help - https://sanden.com/faq/#:~:text=Q%3A%20How%20do%20...ressors%3F

you likely already know that the double-hose clamp pipe/hose connection on your high side is an issue.

is the fitting size really your questions or is it really something else?

yes sorry, should have clarified,

my compressor works fine, I am replacing all my A/C lines. I would like to know these fittings sizes so that I can go ahead and order replacements, even though I am not ready to evacuate and disconnect the existing system.

When I replaced my compressor, I already had the hoses rebuilt with the same old fittings. New compressor from Van Cafe had different size holes, bigger than the original. AC shop that was going to charge the system swapped the back plates on the compressors, problem solved.

If I ever do it again will take pics and measurements.

ok -

From your info, I'd expect #8 and #10. checking your model number and info subsequent to that would (likely) be more sure....and you won't know for sure until you take it apart since technically the rear end of Sanden compressors can be swapped out - but I'd bet a beer that they are #8 and #10

you don't have to replace these fittings. Cut off the ferrule / collar (already done on the 2-hoseclamp deal) and use a replacement ferrule onto this existing fitting

if yo do want to get new fittings, see which you want on here and order from Rock auto where I have found the best prices on fittings and hose.

https://www.smpbuyersguide.com/4seasons/2017-Illustrated-Guide/716/#1

likely 15934 and 15949 in 45degfemale oring with ports

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7930600&cc=0&pt=10655

(I'm grateful Rock Auto exists since these are not avail form the typical VW vendors)

select standard barrier or reduced barrier. often more fittings avail in standard barrier but it doesn't matter since you can get standard barrier fitting cut off the ferrule and use a reduced ferrule. (reduced fittings from 4S are on page 719 and many more avail form other manufacturers)

ferrule standard barrier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSPNRK8R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I REALLY like reduced barrier hose Smile
