I did the opposite and matched the wheels to the interior then added stainless beauty rings.

Has anyone shaved the rear face of an EMPI Riviera? Due to a bad repair on the drivers rear fender, it rubs on corners, and a body shop said can't roll or pull the fender, too much bondo. Just curios how much can be taken off. I have a 70 coupe with stock IRS.

Beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the end result. IMHO nothing beats a red '71 Karmann Ghia cabriolet on Fuchs Wink

A little biased there Charlie???? I hate red cars, but you are right, the Ghia convertible does look good in red though. Especially yours!

You may want to try asking in the Wheel/tire forum. I wouldnt shave on an expensive part until i had some guidance that it was an acceptable fix. Safety first.

Thanks, just did that. Was told by the place I bought them, I should be able to take 3/16 off with no issues, but thought I would see if anyone else has done it. There are quite a few posts in other forums where they are asking about taking 10 - 15 mm off of other wheels. That scares me!

15 inch diameter x 5 inches wide - backspacing: 3-5/8 inch on the rear.
4.5 inch on the front.

Rears are super tight but minimal rub.

Love the look but what I really want to know is:
what color is that? (The body not the roof Very Happy )
Solid or metallic?
Single-stage or BC/CC?

Wasn't the easy way to go, but happy to have finished up wheels and tires. Custom Appliance Pacers, 5" in the front with 135/80 and 6" in the back with 185/70. Narrowed front beam and all four fender lips rolled.
