Do you guys know if the new aftermarket balljoints are made to thread in a greasefitting? They come with a small white plastic plug in the hole but it looks like these plugs are made to come out and be replaced with a grease fitting, am I correct? thanks.

That's up to each aftermarket manufacturer. I imagine you could ask for greasable ball joints. I can't specifically answer your plastic plug question. i would venture to guess that's just a hole (not threaded) that the manufacturer uses to grease the unit and then plugs it with a plastic plug.

Yea thanks that's what I was thinking, they probably just shoot some grease in there and plug them up with the plastic plugs so it doesn't come out..I'd like to see if a grease fitting will thread in there and stay put.

EMPIImp69,
I have the same or similar white plastic caps on my ball joints and was able to replace them with metric grease fittings that I got from Harbor Freight. The ball joints were threaded and the fittings went in without much problem and worked for filling the boot with grease. I think the box of fittings were less than $4.oo.
