73 Thang (Texas version of a Thing) |
Pretty funny. I had the same personalized VIRGINIA license plate on my first Thing back in 1980. A good-ole-boy mechanic where I worked back in college first saw it and exclaimed, "Whut is that-there thang!?" I thought it was so funny, I got the tag.

10mi. east of Austin in Webberville.
Thing is not running because I got my 34PICT3 back from Chards 3 months ago and the carb does not work. Chards will not help me with the issue and I have not found another German carb. |

Killeen tx. just finished replacing floors, front end, brakes, brake lines,
ETC. Got the engine running the other day, doing all the work myself.
Ordered the top off ebay, now trying to figure out the front piece and rivets.
Thing stuff ain't cheap. |

If so, I saw you this last weekend. I was there for Hunter Ingalls funeral. We tagged the Cadillac Ranch and hung out with a bunch of my "Artist Friends" from when I used to live there. Man, has that town changed. _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."
