I got an early 1950 standard and I cant figure out which hubcaps it would of came with stock? Was it the big VW logo or the small? Would they of been chrome or the same color as the car? I'm trying to make the car look as stock as possible so any info would be great. Thanks

I think large logo and painted body color is correct.

Large Logo ended mid-1949. If it's a standard then no chrome on the hubcaps I believe. |

Small logo VW hubcaps.
As far as being standard model, I'd opt for the body color. But seems there were quite a few standards ordered with the Chrome option.
If you're exterior handles & headlight rings are Chrome, then Chromed caps will be ok. But if those exterior ancillaries are Grey, I'd paint the caps.
